there’s something interesting about this city on a freezing, brumous evening like this one. the glances shared at train stations between humans trying almost animalistically to stay warm, the fog shrouding the tops of the buildings and putting a little moisture in the normally painfully dry air. i don’t know why exactly i so enjoy when the city looks so post-apocalyptic.
there’s something interesting about this station. a largely unremarkable green thing in between two parts of a large road connecting infinitely to a network of more large roads that lead nowhere important. this is the station that time forgot; replete with adverts from years passed, system maps nowhere near accurate, signs pointing to buses that no longer run.
there is something interesting about today.
